TOMEI designs both single and dual exhausts to best suit each vehicle’s characteristics, intended driving feel, and usage. A single layout has its unique philosophy, while a dual system has its own optimal performance tuning. TYPE-80 series, in this case, represents a beautiful solution when pushing the limits of a single exhaust design.

While Ver.1 is compatible with GR86/ZD8, some issues arose with the GR86 / New BRZ (FA24). The bumper clearance was not optimized, the protrusion length varied by vehicle, the silencer diameter risked interference with other parts. Thus, it wasn’t a perfect fit.

To address these requests, TOMEI designed the Ver.3 (this version), optimizing it specifically for the FA24 engine, ensuring perfect fitment and performance.
