SXTH Element CPLT Intake Kit for the GR Corolla 2023+

The SXTH Element Engineering CPLT Intake is a total package of performance and OEM fit/finish.  CPLT is short for "Complete" and this intake leaves nothing out. ALL SXTH ELEMENT CPLT Intake Kits come with the PCV Fix Kit to eliminate any CEL.

As air enters the OEM scoop and the new airbox, the high flow oiled filter with integrated velocity stack feeds air through the new tube into the OEM turbo inlet. Through extensive development and testing, SXTH Elements intake manages up to 14whp and 14wtq as rpms climb to redline. All of this done on the OEM ECU without any additional modifications.

SXTH Element's intake pipe and airbox are molded from XLPE plastic, a durable material perfect for lightweight intake systems. The intake tube is tuned to the perfect size to have proper airflow for the MAF sensor, while relieving pressure drop in the intake system. With less pressure drop, pumping losses of the turbo are reduced, increasing performance. This intake also achieves the HP gains without altering OEM air/fuel ratios.

The airbox also relocates the additional air entry area away from the hot area of the engine. Part of the performance increase comes from cooler IAT (Intake Air Temperature) and that is achieved with the new airbox design.

Using the latest tech in 3D scanning and CAD design for intake development, SXTH element created the perfect OEM fit on the first try.

Features:

  • Est. 14whp over 5300rpm
  • bigger, conical oiled air filter
  • bigger airbox
  • bigger intake tube outside of MAF section
  • maximized intake air scoop from front grille
  • MAF housing retained for no CEL and OEM fuel trims

**Notice**

Aftermarket intakes currently out for the GR Corolla are allowing for a Check Engine Light for PCV Hose monitoring, P2C90. This is due to increased intake airflow and is not harmful to the engine in any way.

The increase in intake airflow affects the pressure in this hose to the fact that the sensor does not see a large enough "total" change in pressure, which makes the ECU think the hose is clogged or disconnected. If this pressure change (the switch from boost to vacuum) is performed 10 times or more within 2 drive cycles (all instances being under 3700rpm), the check engine light is illuminated.

This requires manufacturing a new PCV hose designed. Currently, the expected completion of the new hose will take about 45 days. SXTH Element are happy to retain factory PCV monitoring function, unlike bypassing this function like some other current "fixes" that have been announced on the internet.

    Solid Intake with Performance

The performance intake is notable. Intake noises are also there. Quality is pretty good, wish the pipe clamps were better as they are a bit cheap; prefer t-bolt pipe clamps. The overall intake though is quality and a lot of people have run them; grcorollaforum.com.
